Hello!

The earliest memory I have of photography is holding a picture of my dad taken on my Barbie Polaroid camera. While I’ve upgraded from pink cameras covered in flower stickers, I’ve also learned why I’m so drawn to visual storytelling: the goal of my work is the hope that it will help even one person feel they aren’t alone in the struggles they face.

Having faced serious medical issues at a young age made me feel isolated and confused. When it came time to start my senior capstone project, I knew that I wanted to shed light on lesser known health issues as a way to help others. I produced a story about a young woman living with mitochondrial disease and the challenges she faced as she embarked on her first year of college. Working on this story helped me to see the power and difference that multimedia storytelling can make and set me on a path to continue this important work.

I moved to the Bay Area after graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2018, which has given me a greater understanding of the impacts humans have on our planet. I am passionate about using my storytelling skills to start conversations about environmental justice and the intersection of health and our environment.

When I’m not working, I can be found teaching yoga, indoor rock climbing, or re-watching the Lord of the Rings for the 200th time.

I’m currently based in San Francisco, Calif.
